Especially so since he is going after high level talent in great numbers. UK has as many options as a recruit does now. I sort of like how that works. :)

There are many things I like about Tubby Smith but he sure didn't apply the urgency needed to recruit on par with other big time programs. Coach G appears to know how to play that game as well as anyone.:thumbup::thumbup:

I was using that exact analogy at the office today "get on the train" or miss it , in describing Darius Miller. If Patterson had played his waiting game with Billy G., he would never had become a Cat.

The downside if there has to be one, is that eye for talent better project ahead 2-3 years for an accurate assessment of the kid. Another Adam Williams would be a very critical error early in the UK career of BeeGee.
