So, what are we looking at this year RV? Another 7-5 campaign? Even with 8 home games, the schedule looks brutal because of the SEC teams that are on it.

Johnson and Paris are a year older than he stated, other than that, I agree with his assesment.

I don't expect us to lose more than two at home - if that.

I can see us winning all the games. I certainly don't see anybody on this schedule that is impossible to beat. Besides, we are overdue.

The writer is right on target about the hurtful injuries during the spring. Specifically, he shares how linebacker Brandon Thurmond had been one of the most improved players during the spring before his injury. I had remembered reading how the coaches were raving about Thurmond's play during the spring, and then he went down. :icon_sad: He also shares how poor Cessna suffered still another knee injury (the opposite knee) and how potentially valuable defensive lineman Ventrell Jenkins is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury.
I so remember all three of those players' injuries. Here's hoping most of the UK players are healthy during fall camp and the 2007 season. Doing so could certainly make this coming season a special one. GO CATS!!!
