Ryan Wallace to commit?
Bowling Green High School tight end Ryan Wallace is close to making a commitment. The son of Purples' coach Kevin Wallace sent me a text message today that said he would likely commit within the next couple of weeks.
Wallace has his list narrowed down to Cincinnati, Stanford, Kentucky and Mississippi. He would also still consider Georgia Tech if the Yellowjackets make him an offer after he camps there.
Wallace will be a good pickup for somebody. I don't know anything but I'll pick UK in the race.
Also, UK did receive a commitment today from Alcoa (Tenn.) athlete Randall Cobb. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Cobb played quarterback and threw for 2,500 yards as a junior.
