I don't know how many recruits BCG had coming to TAMU for the future classes but I am pretty sure, BCG must be thinking
"Geez, this is so much easier, I just wear Kentucky across my chest and bam.. I have recruits from '07, '08, '09 and '10 lined up waiting to play for me!!"

Thre is no comparison in the schools as far as history or anything else. I stated when we got Coach Gillispie that it would not be long before recruits would be knocking on our door, and he has'nt even coached a game yet. Thats the way it should be for a great program like ours. GO CATS GO BIG BLUE.

For many years, until the middle of Sutton's time at Kentucky, UK led UNC by a little and Duke by about twice as much in the total number of McDonalds All Americans signed.
They did not have a McDoanlds team when Rupp was around, but he would have signed a ton too.

Just think how much he's been able to spread his recruiting coverage here. He can recruit from anywhere here at UK, with our previous ties, name, and also the ties he brings in. It must be like casting a net into a small pool full of elite recruits. No matter where he casts, he always gets a net full. Can you imagine what it will be like when he wins some of the higher profile games, or maybe wins the sec/sec tourney. That could happen next year, given a little luck and the players listening to him. Man, could he ever recruit then!

C'mon guys, have you ever seen anything like the last 3 months? There seems to be new stories everytime you log on. Coach G could possibly have two of the top 10 players from the 2010 class verbally committed by Monday. Just been amazing to watch unfold.

At the rate this is going at, we won't have anything to talk about in two months, as our classes of 08, 09, and 10 will already be booked.

Sure we will. In a few months some shiny new player will catch our eye and we'll all start to gripe and moan about how BCG should have waited to see how the late bloomers developed.
It's as inevitable as the dawn. We're Kentucky fans!
