The offers continue to pour in for a talented athlete from Columbus, Ga. Deron Furr, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound standout from Columbus-Carver High School, sported seven offers just a couple of weeks ago, but now his list has ballooned to double digits.
The dual-threat compiled impressive numbers last year playing only the quarterback position. Furr tallied 1,300 yards and 14 touchdowns through the air, and rang up 730 yards and 12 touchdowns with his rushing ability.
Even with those eyebrow-raising numbers, some of the schools involved in his recruiting are looking at Furr as a wide receiver or possibly a defensive back due to a sub-4.5 time in the 40 and a 33-inch vertical leap...
