Rivals.com's Justin Young reports as official today what we heard speculated all weekend. 2010 Top 5 player, KC Ross-Miller has committed to Billy Clyde and the Cats. Another unbelievable turn of events as Kentucky now has TWO 2010 commitments and one (Trae Golden) that may be close. What can you say…..

Thats two of the top 10 players in the class. I cant imagine that. That would be like throwing Eric Gordon or Derrick Rose in there with PP this year. Its crazy what this guy is doing

Either that or a perimeter full of combo guards wants Coach Gillispie.

Coach G is amazing. It sure appears that we will have little excitement during the off seasons of the future though with recruiting for the next 20 years already wrapped up. :) Hopefully fans will be allowed a little more info about what goes on with the players over the course of the summer as things appear to be changing?
I just found this about God's Academy. This was in Sept 2006 and I don't know where things stand right now but it does give one a reason to rub their chin or scratch their head.

Man, we are way past back. We're like 100 miles past back. I have never seen anything like this. I forgot how fun Kentucky basketball could be!

Billy G. is adding to it by being so HOT.
Coach is on a roll right now and he looks to have no intentions of slowing down. It's hard to keep up with him. To be a Kentucky fan right now, what a great feeling it is.

Have Scout and Rivals ranked the 2010 class yet? I didn't see it at all on Rivals and players were listed on Scout with no rankings. I see people saying KC as a top 5 recruit, but where is that from.
I can't even believe we are talking about recruits from 2010. Coach G is the MAN!!!!

You know, the kids that want to pull a Lucas or Patterson, by waiting may now be left out in the cold. It seems Billy G.'s philosophy is, here a scholarship offer....take it or the next guy I talk to may get it. I like it, no waiting for somebody to turn us down, then we are left with nobody.
Gillispie is AMAZING!!!

I've been following Kentucky recruiting for over 35 years. I've seen various coaches put together some fantastic classes. But I've never seen this many early committments. The class of 2010 is shapping up to where it could be equal (or even better) than classes like 1971, 1974, 1979, and 1995.

This will teach me to leave the house, I went to my sister's birthday cookout and came back to find out that "another" kid recruited. Can't even leave the house with Billy G. around.

No, Coach Gillispie is SUPERMAN!!! :icon_lol: Seriously, the man is simply AMAZING! I have never seen anything like him in all the years I have followed UK recruiting.
Oh, sure, I've seen some outstanding UK classes, but I've never seen a recruiter as aggressive and relentless and EXCITING for us fans. As Moon Pie just said, we are talking about recruitis for 2010 here in 2007.
Coach Billy G is just UNBELIEVABLE, and I am MOST thankful that we have him at UK. With UK fans' passion for basketball and, specifically, basketball recruiting, I say, once again, that it certainly appears to be a match made in Heaven. :) GO CATS! GO BILLY G!

Of all the news this weekend, possibly the biggest is the decision of 2010 Guard KC Ross-Miller to commit to the University of Kentucky. While 2010 is a long way away, Miller is a special talent, believed by many to be one of the 2-3 best in his class. We caught up with him last night and this was the conversation:
You committed to Kentucky today. What were the factors that led you to make that decision?
Just everything man. I love the coaching staff and they are great people. I have known Coach Gillispie for a while as he recruited me at the other school too and I know that he really wants me in the program. And then I went up there and I just loved everything about it. The place just has basketball all over it. The fans are crazy. The school is nice. Just everything about it is great.
Did you get to tour the campus? What did you think about it?
Yeah I got to go all over the place. The practice facility is crazy. It is just unbelieveable. It is the nicest thing I have ever seen. And I like that the dorm is close by and its really nice too.
