So what if we didn't get Warren. I think we're all forgetting the fact that Jasper and Meeks will be here for the next 3 years. Add in Legion, Liggins, Vilirano, KC Miller and others and we are stocked full at the guard postions. I can't blame Warren for going somewhere where PT is available. We may even get Rotnei Clarke soon.
I would much rather grab Miller, Zeller and other forwards/centers instead of Warren right now.
All these new recruits are making us lose focus on Meeks.

LOL. Man that is true. Meeks is not somebody I'd want to try and beat out for PT, especially if I was freshman.
Warren wants to be one and done. That would be impossible if he came here.
We're also leaving out Ramel and Joe. They still have a whole year ahead of themselves with a clean start and offense in which to work!

That's true, we are "Guard Central". Warren would've come in when Legion was a Soph and Meeks was a Junior and with Liggins. Just too many guards and Sf's .

I wouldn't go as far as to say that Legion will be here three years.. based on reports, and that scrimmage video i saw a few days ago, Legion looks like he is the best player on the team. Wouldn't suprise me to see him go pro early,, maybe after sophmore year.

Now maybe we can find a way to land Zeller(or Dunigan), Miller and Czyz.

Baylor's two best guards are seniors this comming year, so Warren should have lots of opportunity for playing time as a freshman. Of course, year after year Baylor is first in the Big 12 (alphabetically, at least.)

Even though he is also a guard, I still badly want Clarke after reading an article my son just sent me. Gillispie's passion for basketball (and work ethic for recruitng) is on a different planet than most humans. and it seems the same for Clarke's passion for basketball (and related work ethic for becoming an even better shooter, etc.). In addition to that positive, Clarke is seemingly a VERY fine individual.
Like others, I also want Miller and Zeller, though. As I see it, there are just not enough scholarships to match Coach Gillispie's recruiting ability. Regardless, it's surely exciting. :icon_biggrin: GO CATS! GO BILLY G!
