Kind of in that Kerry Kittles-Lawrence Moten mold. Has progressed each season and is a big time scorer. Will get after it on the glass. We rank his aggressively because he's a proven commodity and expect big things.

This kid looks like he could be a shorter version of Tayshaun Prince. Tall and slender, athletic, can handle the ball and score at will. You put about 20 pounds of muscle on this one and he may turn out to be a monster... And I'm always a fan of a player that knows how to rebound the basketball. There have been too many times these past few years where I've caught myself screaming at the TV for someone to "box somebody out!!"

I have read a recent rumor that Kentucky is now a possible for Sylven Landesberg #45 rivals http://kentucky.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=41970&Sport=2

A video of him. He is #15 in White. Looks like a player.

the kid looks like he has a nice shot but he just needs to get some jump to it. Seems like it would be hard for him to pull off that set shot in college.

You are correct, Colstream. This is old news. We heard about it maybe two days ago. :icon_mrgreen: Billy G. must have some sort of device that manufactures time. It is the only possible conclusion I can arrive at to explain the way he is getting to all these kids. It would be a full time job for five people to try to keep up with him. I feel for ya, Coldstream.

It is clearly going to be first come first serve with BCG from now on. If he thinks you can play for him, he will take you. I like it. Every now and we are going to have to wait on a certain very highly ranked kid, but not every year like we were with Tubby.

Backup plan for Darius Miller?

HAHAHA!! It took me a little while to figure out that the white team's name was not Silven Landesberg. I thought they were calling it out when everybody scored... nope just him a lot.

Do you take this kid over Miller? I've never seen Miller play so I have no opinion. This kid looks very good to me and if he wants to commit it would be hard to wait on anyone else (including Miller).

Yes. Not just the "a bird in hand" thought, but also because the differences between them aren't big enough to warrant turning down Landesberg for Miller.

I.e., if you've got one guy who's an 8.5/10, and another who's a 9/10, best to take the 8.5/10 guy, rather than lose him and bank on a 50% shot or so for the 9/10.

If it's the difference between a 9/10 and a 6/10...might be different.
