3) Former USC signee Leonard Washington is expected to announce his decision tomorrow at 2:30 PM. Washington is a Louisiana native that, if you remember correctly, was a player that was released from his letter-of-intent after not making the grades to get into USC. He's gotten himself set academically and has been pursuing another possible collegiate destination. Ole Miss and UK are perceived to be his final two choices.
4) UK officially hired its strength and conditioning coach when Todd Forcier was named today. Forcier has some experience in several capacities including the the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics, UNLV, Dayton and Syracuse. I believe the S&C coach to be the most overrated position in all of college sports, as it doesn't necessarily take a top candidate to make a difference, but certainly Forcier's experience can only help add credibility to Billy Gillispie luring top recruits to Lexington in hopes of an NBA career. Forcier's ties will help, as well as his past history with top programs such as the Orangemen.
5) UK's latest scholarship offer has been given to Sylven Landesberg. At 6-foot-7, 185 pounds Landesberg's a great athlete and shooter and is ranked the fourth best small forward in the country and a five star by Scout.com. His video is below.
