Warren sure needs to do less talking, like Momma said. He's making himself look very selfish and that's making me cool on him considerably. He may not really be like his quote making him sound, but he sure isn't helping himself by the constant chatter about playing time.

I agree. At first I just thought that it was no big deal because he's young and stupid like a lot of 18 year olds, but the more I hear him the more I wan't to tell him to come back to earth a little, shut up, and be worried about proving you should get mins rather than thinking you are entitled to as many mins you want no matter what college you go to.

I agree. Surely he doesn't actually think that he's going to play 40 minutes a game, every game, and not be substituted for. Plus, his "they have a lot of guards"statement is starting to bug me. Is he afraid that he might actually have to earn his starting spot?

He might just be a kid spouting off but this is starting to get real old.

I think the reality is we do have a lot of guards and I can see his point, but he has to find a better way of saying it. Saying I don't want to come out if I am struggling is not the way. I too wonder about our need for WW, so I can see his hesitation, but I also am to the point that I think I would rather go a different direction. He is clearly a talent, but we need big men.

In 2008 we will have:

Jasper

Legion
Ligions

Add to that we are still recruiting several guards including Clark who we look to among the leaders. That would be 6 guards for 2 spots, with GJ coming in 2009. If we get Miller for SF, we would also be set at SF with Miller, Harrris & Stewart getting minutes there.

I guess Warren didn't get the memo. If BCG offers you a scholly and you are considering going to UK, you better make up your mind in a hurry. Or get left behind by the next guy who does take the scholly. I love those blanket offers.
