This kid sounds like a real Gem. I hope Mom and Dad were as impressed as Trae was and it is just a matter of time for him to commit.

Maybe a little competition between Miller and Golden for that spot?

Here's hoping we get Trae, TOO. My head just spins every time I read this board these days.
As I mentioned on another thread, Coach Pitino, who has reportedly never cared much for recruiting, is NOW becoming involved with some of the players much earlier (including Trae). Do we think Coach G just might have something to do with that! :icon_lol:
I notice that Trae is the son of two educators. Well, the two former educators who live in this home hope those two advise the same as the two of us would be advising. GO CATS! GO BILLY G!

As amazing as it sounds for the Wildcats to have a pair of 2010 commitments already on board, they could be looking at a third in the very near future.
Trae Golden, a dynamic 2-guard from Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern, recently made an unofficial visit to UK while in the area for the Blue Chip High Potential Camp at Georgetown College. After getting to meet with Gillispie and playing some pick-up games with the current Cats, he landed a scholarship offer from the Big Blue...

Trae has a scholly offer from BCG and the 1-star given to him by scout.com is just an indictation that he hasn't really been evaluated yet. Expect him to be at least a 4-star with a pretty good possiblity of being a 5-star recruit.
