I hope our Cats have new Jerseys!

I am not one for watching teams wear real flashy jerseys but I am kind of tired of watching the team wear the same jerseys for the last several years. Anyone else out there hope for a new look this year? Any ideas on what they'll look like?

First of all....I cant wait until that day in the future where our boys wear the Scratches as a throw back jersey for a pre-season tourney or something.....SERIOUSLY......CANT WAIT.:icon_mrgreen:

I agree though, we need a new look. Many people are calling this a "new era" or some other version of that....so why not go full circle with it and change the jerseys as well. It would make it a fresh start all around.

Im sure Nike wouldnt mind cranking out a new style for our "new" CATS.

I loved the throwback jerseys from two years ago. I even bought one. It was my first actual Kentucky jersey. I wouldn't mind seeing the team bring them out for the entire season.

If we do end up going with something completely new, I wouldn't mind seeing the new Nike style to see how it would look. They busted them out in the NCAA tournament, and even though I thought they were horrible when they first brought them out, they did grow on me a little bit. I would love for one set of our jerseys just to say "CATS" on the front. Like an alternate jersey or something.

I just hope that we don't ever go to the Cinci Bearcat Thug style. I even didn't care for Ohio State's long shorts and cropped top jersey. I guess I'm a conventialist.

I really liked the 1998-2005 uniforms. I wouldn't mind if they simply got rid of the Nike-standard shoulder stripes and went back to these.

I loved those throwbacks as well.

As I said in the other uniform thread we had a little while back, I think we should either be on the cutting edge of uniform design, or we should get a nice, classic look and stick with it. I don't like us looking like every other school in the country. I don't mind the trimless part, but those ugly stripes and the fact that everyone else had it bothered me.
