Let's try the SEC's own way (9 players). In doing this, you really notice how depleted the frontcourts are in the SEC this year; every first team SEC forward and center from last year is now gone.

My Preason SEC First-Team:

Second-Team:

Ramel Bradley
Joe Crawford
Alonzo Gee

Tasmin Mitchell

Freshman of the year: Patrick Patterson

Good list, but I'm going to put Alonzo Gee on the first team in place of Speights.

And I'll switch Tasmin Mitchell and Jodie Meeks; Jodie's going to have a great year, but I don't know if he's ready for first team all-conference.

I'm also going to move Wayne Chism to second team in place of Tyler Smith. Smith might have a bit of a hard time adjusting to that team. Solid player, but at Iowa he was at times the only player on the court who could operate.

Finally, move Kovortney Barber out and put Sundiata Gaines in his place. Gaines is one of my personal favorites in the SEC.

I also like Auburn's LaQuan Prowell and Georgia's Terrance Woodbury, but I'm not sure where they go.
