Looks like I'll be challenging AndyPopCat for the thread creation frequency trophy.

Wish I worked in a place where ~$687,000 was the minimum.

I couldn't get the article but that's good news. I was wondering when Richardson got traded to Charlotte if it might help Kaz.

I am so happy for a fine young man who also happens to be a former Cat. Congratulations, Kelenna! :)

Now he can pay his daddys restitution.... not to sound like a jerk, but that was why he left in the first place

I personally have no idea what this is about. All it goes to is an email and password site. Can someone copy and paste the article?

My apologies. This link (http://www.mercurynews.com/sports/ci_6374976) should work.

Yeah, I really didn't get the 411 on what happened here. Anyone got a brief synopsis of the situation.

From what a I understand, Kaz is a great guy and has a deep Christian faith. His dad is just a bad apple?

Probably not who you'd want to hear it from, but is Greg Doyel's interpretation:

I love when cocky sports writers think they are always right and then proven wrong....especially Doyel. This line I pasted below from his article is especially funny to read knowing that Kaz just signed an NBA contract. I'd like to send this article back to Doyel and ask him what went wrong with his assessment because it looks like Kaz will now be making a living playing NBA ball in the USA just a couple years removed from his college days. Way to go KAZ!!

"This is a nice kid who was a nice college player who will have to learn how to say "nice" in another language, because if his goal is to make money as a basketball player, he won't live again in the United States until he retires."

I wish you would send this back to Doyel. He is my least favorite sports writer. I just don't like people who love to tear down other people. :thumbdn::icon_twisted:

Edit. Where are my manners? Congratulations Kaz. A person and player who represented UK with total class under very difficult personal circumstances. I wish you nothing but the best.

Well-said, bleedbluelady. I, likewise, do not tend to care for people, and specifically writers, who "love to tear down other people."

Also, thanks, nkycatsfan. GO CATS! GO BILLY G!
