I'm a big fan of the Lovemarks concept. It's an idea that some marketing folks had to distinguish a so-so brand from those that have a devoted following. Naturally, I thought of UK. Anne nominated Kentucky Wildcat Basketball as a Lovemark back in '02.
Recently I was on their site looking at other Lovemarks and visited the UK page again. They had a very poor image in the upper left that didn't reflect our brand at all. In fact, the basketball player they had used was wearing a RED uniform! I was amazed I hadn't noticed it earlier. Anyway, I created a new image for them yesterday, and they already have it in place. I love those guys. 8^)
