right click on the photo and select "copy image location" then come back to the WCN reply box and click the yellow box that looks like a mountain scape...a box will appear with "http" highlighted. Simply right click in that box (leaving "http" still highlighted) and paste the location in the box. Hit enter and you are done...

I've been trying to find the image of Scott Padgett's face during the 1998 Duke game when UK got the lead late in the game. It was priceless. If anyone finds it, post it.

Tyler, the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball Player....
Tyler with the University of Kentucky Wildcats It was a happy day for six-year-old Tyler as he celebrated the New Year by meeting and shooting "hoops" with some of his favorite players from the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. Tyler was diagnosed with congenital heart disease at birth. He is a passionate fan of the Blue and White. Tyler.KY.BE (20K) When asked what his wish might be, Tyler said, "I want to shoot hoops with them, get some autographs and talk to them - I love them!" Since Tyler was three years old, he has been a fan of the wildcats, so to attend a game and meet them personally was his one true wish. Tyler not only met the team, but he got to be a part of it- Tyler was treated like a teammate by the Wildcat players. This was the 100th wish granted by Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kentucky, and a special celebration of this milestone took place during a timeout.
Tickets to the game and a gift package for Tyler and his family were donated by the University of Kentucky Athletic Office and this wish was "adopted" by the Chi Omega chapter of the University of Kentucky.

go to "user cp" under the "Big Blue Madness Countdown" near the top of this page...click "edit options." At the bottom of the page is a section for "misc options" in the drop done box select "standard editor-extra formatting controls." Save the changes and then you should see several more icons that you are prob not seeing now (to include the yellow mountains...http://www.wildcatnation.net/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif)
if that doesnt work you can simply type and paste the url of the image you want to embed followed by , it should look like this (WITHOUT THE spaces bwtween the brackets, added so you could see the format)

All great photos, thanks to everyone!
Yes, the Pitino plaid coat was unveiled for a game in Rupp against Wimp Sanderson. RP also pulled out some shiny black cowboy boots for a game against Nolan Richardson. He did have a sense of humor.
And thanks for the Charles Hurt photo. Hurt is one of my favorite Cats all time. He was the original Muscle Cat- way before Azubuike, Hayes, etc. James Lee is the baddest Cat of all time, but Hurt is one of the strongest and underrated.
...and another:

Terry and Raleigh, thanks. Again, I'm 20, so I don't remember that. I had heard that's the reason for the plaid, but wanted to make sure. Hadn't heard about the boots though!!! Bet Nolan wasn't so enthused :icon_lol:
I'm assuming Charles Hurt is the one that basically got Barkley thrown out one game, by getting him ticked off to the point that he took a swing at Hurt??? I've heard that recounted several times, and wish I had video of. I like Barkley now, as a sportscaster (when they actually let him put a coherent sentence together), and wish I could have seen more of his playing days.

That's how I recall it. Back in the day if you wanted to see players like Barkley or Dominique Wilkins you had to catch them in games against UK (usually). There were no highlight shows and very little national exposure for SEC basketball beyond our Cats.
Barkley was an amazing talent at AU. Not only was he a monster of a player- but the stories surrounding him were almost as good. I remember hearing one that students at one road game had a pizza delivery guy approach Barkley in warmups. Others would have hotdog/popcorn vendors walk down to the AU bench during timeouts. None of them could be true, but with Barkley you never knew. (My guess is they're all true!).
Also, Wilkins was one of the best college players that almost nobody saw until he played for the Hawks. Dominque did stuff in games that no one was doing- not even Bias or Jordan. 'Nique was a freak.
