My memory of the last time Vandy beat UK in Lexington is a little fuzzy but I think I remember this correctly.

In a very close game, Reggie Warford hit what would have been the game winning shot for UK but the basket was disallowed. Why was it disallowed?

What you are thinking of is when Warford was inbounding the ball from underneath the basket. He threw it the length of the court and it went through the other basket but it didn't count because you can't score when inbounding the ball without the ball touching someone else. I think this may have happened in the 1976 season. I remember watching this and thought it was astounding. I don't think I have seen it since. UK lost to Vandy at home in 1974 by a score of 82-65.

That's what I'm thinking of, but I could haveswore it was Vandy in 1974. But I remember the score being closer.

Oh well, ok the second part of the triva question is, Who was it against and when. Obviously I don't remember. I'm pretty sure it was in Memorial though.
