No. 12 Louisville enters this Sunday’s season-opener against Kentucky as the prohibitive favorite to win the annual rivalry for the sixth time in the past seven years.
While there are many reasons why the Cardinals should win comfortably against the Wildcats this weekend, here are the Top 10 reasons I came up with.
10. Fan Support
Though UK will have the home field advantage this Sunday, U of L fans are expected to flock to Commonwealth Stadium en-mass. Some estimates put the potential U of L crowd in Lexington near 15,000 strong. That support should boost the Cardinals on the field during what figures to be an emotional game.
9. Fewer Injuries

I'm suppose to tailgate with a 7 bus group and there is also a bigger tailgate party going on at the redmile...So those estimates might not be off very much..
