And let's hope it's not close enough that we have to go to Thomas under the basket in the final seconds. I'd rather see Sheray take a shot from theperimeter than from under the basket. I still don't understand why he and Perry still shoot so weakly/poorly under the basket---good grief!, they're juniors, near the end of their 3rd year of UK coaching. C'mon, Reggie!!!

I imagine Tubby's thinking on setting the play to go to Thomas (against LSU) was that he'd surely get fouled and he can shoot FT's pretty well. But then nearly everyone knows the officials aren't going to call a foul at that stage of a tight game unless the shooter is decapitated----then.....maybe.

i was looking back on the recaps of the games in that 02-03 season... and it brought back great memories... well till i got to that marquette game GRRRRRR, but i was looking at those tennessee games that year and we owned them... so i am gonna say we own them on wednesday

Got to stay with the prediction I made a few weeks ago. Of these last three teams, I feel that Tennessee is the one we can beat. (Got to guard Lofton, though. Got to.)

Kentucky 76
Tennessee 71

...in overtime.

This team hasn't proved it can beat a good team in a close game this season. I don't see it happening in Knoxville Wednesday night. I hope I'm wrong but I see another gut wrenching loss.

Exactly. We have 2 wins in the top 50 all year. This will not be #3.

But if we somehow come away with a win, itcould be an automatic NCAA bid for us, IMO.

It would be a monumental step in the right direction if UK wins.

Who knows? What team shows up? Will it be the team that thumped Ole Miss, or will it be the team that played the second half against Florida? This team is too inconsistent to predict anything.

UK wins by 10+ points if we have less than 10 turnovers. The defense is playing very well and UK's offense has progressed. UK had a dificult time against the press and also inbounding the ball the last time these two played. If UK takes care of the ball-which we have had difficulty all year-UK will win. I say UK plays a very good game.

Its March Madness! Time to step it up or start packing.

UK 83 Tennessee 71.

Playing witout Bradley will make this one tougher... but I say UK 82 UT 78. UK up by two in the last minute and hangs on with FTs.

Sadly lofton gets injured in the first second of play and never gets to score those 52 points, sits only the rest of this game out, Kentucky wins 63-60.

In a season that has saw the Cats roll over time and time again the Cats roll over again tonight, quit playing defense with 10 minutes left, and turn a five point loss into a blowout. Our subs get beat 8-0 the final two minutes. No fight.

UT 78------UK 67 I don't reaaly know what basis everyone is using to pick the Cats in this one. Not gonna happen, we have troubles in Knoxville when we have good teams least of all this jumbled mess of a team.
