Thanks Jon for having us over yesterday for the game. It was nice meeting Will Lavender. Glad Rockober is joining us when he can. The food was good and the company was even better. So much fun to watch other cat fans. Marsha and Kendy were there. Even my UL hubby joined us. I think that was the problem. The only other game he has watched with us was the IU game and that is because it was here and we lost. Hmmmmmm Tells me he stays home next time ;) I left out DenCat. Sorry Dennis. He was my pacing/standing buddy until I got too nervous and left.

I really hada great time except for the final outcome of the game. I met some very fine people and I look forward to seeing alot of you again real soon. Next time we will win the game.
PS-Cathy-Your husband has great taste in women-but his taste in teams-I say divorce him;)

I had a great time with you guys yesterday. It was great to watch a game with some die-hard UK fans, and I look forward to doing it again in Nashville.
Rockober - wish you could be there. Maybe we could meet up to watch an NCAA Tournament game. (If we get in!)
And Cathy - I saw your husband jogging today. I fought the urge to roll down the passenger's side window and shout a UofL slur, but I resisted it. ;):D
Thanks, Jonathan. :thumbup

PS.
I think I owe Jdb some money for all the Cokes I drank.
I don't drink alcohol, but by God I drink caffeine when I get nervous.
And yesterday, with such a huge game, I was a tad nervous. :nada:

Not a fair question as I was locked in to my "lucky chair" and was out of order, so to speak, for the two hours of the game. (Marsha kept telling me to lean forward into my "lucky position" because, I swear to God, it actually seemed to be working.)
My wife and I have had arguments about her talking during the game.
So I guess I'm anti-social when the Cats are on.
Normally I'm normal. :D
And Cathy - I didn't get to tell you goodbye yesterday. That, I'm afraid, was anti-social. :?

Buddah, Will was very socialable. We were all a little out of whack towards the end of the game. I've watched enough games with Marsha and DenCat to know how they are in tight games.
Will, it wasn't your fault about not saying goodbye. I wasn't there. My way of dealing with last minute close games is to NOT deal with them if I can avoid it. Mark's aunt lives in the next building. I walked over there. Unfortunately, when I got back, you were gone and Mark was smiling. I didn't have to ask the outcome of the game.:(

It was great being able to put a few more faces to go along with the names. Jonathan was gracious enough to open hisplace to us and for that, I thank him. The nerves were sure on a ragged egde at the end of the game.If I had not been driving,I would havebeen blasted.

Thanks everyone for coming. I enjoyed having you here. As soon as I burn the last of the pictures on the roll, I'll have them developed and post them. (I'm not entirely sure how many I/we took.)
Unfortunately, the Cats got the short end of the stick, but I had a great time with everyone here.
I'm sorry I'm not going to be able to make the SEC Tournament, but I'll be there in spirit, and if there's any way I can do it, I'm planning on driving down Saturday.
Again, thanks to everyone who came, and we'll do it again come football season!

Here I am...all I can say is Me too! Me too! thanks Jonathan. We always have fun. I am working on our pictures too.
WCN is truly a great group of fans. It was nice to meet Rockober and Will Lavender. I had a ball. The only shortcoming was the final score.

Oh, Marsha, it does sound like fun, except for the final score, of course. Reading the thread, I just wish I could have been there with you guys andhave metWill, Rockober, and Jon. I can only imagine the ball you would have had if the Cats had won!
