I want to find out how many of the WCN would be interested in a get-together to watch the 'Cats in the NCAA tournament. I've had several conversations with the owner of the new BeefO'Brady's in LaGrange about holding such a get-together, and he is all for it. He can accomodate pretty much any size group we bring, but if we have enough he said he would section off half of the restaurant just for us. The food is GREAT! They have everything from buffalo wings to burgers. B.O.B's is a family oriented sports pub, so there is alcohol for those who want it, and there's also a game room to keep kids occupied while the parents are watching the games. They have TV's spread out all over the restaurant and there is literally no place you can sit that you can't see a television.
I know we still have to wait and see how the schedule is set, but I'm thinking a Friday night or Saturday would be best if the scheduling gods (and yes, the team) cooperates.
Oh, and let me alleviate any fears you might have about getting to this place. The restaurant is MAYBE two minutes away from I-71 and is super-easy to find. I know LaGrange might qualify as a "road trip" to some of you, but I figure if my wife and I can make it to TK's and Smokey Bones, you all can come out to my neck of the woods once in a while. :D;)
We can even get a discount on the meal if we have enough.
