10,000 for 20 wins

15,000 for an NCAA bid (which they've locked up)

This woman has got this thing really rollling. Went to the Bama game yesterday. The atmosphere is so positive and energetic. I am more excitied about this NCAA tourney than themen's. Friday night I'll be glued to the tv to watch their second round matchup (likely with the Gators).

Money well spent by MB.

It is indeed money well spent. I don't remember what her salary is, but if we assume it's $350K (and I think it's more than this), the 20 wins is only a 2.9% bonus and the NCAA visit is 4.3%. I'd have expected more like 20% bonus for 20 wins and trip to the NCAA. So, IMO the UK admin got a real 'bargain' there.

Another year like this and Micki will have her palms open waiting for Mitch....

She has everyone back (assuming Humprhey gets medial redshirt), except a seldom used reserve. A couple solid freshman to add...

Agreed, if they come in next year with the same hunger. They have the making of a legitimate Sweet 16 team and Final Four darkhorse

Coming from his humble beginnings and having made between $1M and over $2M for several years, Tubby is wealthy beyond his fondest dreams. When house and cars, etc. are added to a salary like his, expenses just aren't that great, so I doubt that money is a big driver for Tubby any more. He can petty well take care of parents, 3 sons and 13 bros and sis's if he wants to. I just hope he's not too satisfied.

Mickie has done well as a top asst at UT for several years, but not into the really big bucks. I think money will mean more to her for the next few years than to Tubby.

I don't think that I asked about whether or not Tubby needs the money. That's a given. I just asked whether anyone thought that they would ever see the day that Mickey would get this type of bonus and Tubby wouldn't. It's a simple premise. The good news now is that both teams, barring a complete collapse of the men's team and a complete mental block by the NCAA women's selection committee, will make both of these goals!
