HE HE HE... this is on the front page of the Daily independent. I live in Ashland. It has been getting laughed up pretty well around here. We fixed him!!! Done pulled a" citizens arrest" on him as Gomer would say. He didn't make it twenty feet out of the store before an employee of the store blasted him and two people who saw it happen came and helped hold him down. There are idiots everywere but in my home town if you pull this kind of crap a concerned citizen is more than likely gonna take you out!!!!

The robbery occurred about 1:15 p.m. According to police, Kazee entered the store through its main entrance, walked up to the cash register and threatened to do bodily harm to the female clerk if she didn’t give him money. The clerk complied and Kazee turned and exited the building.

He didn’t get far.

Miller — a stocky, muscular man who said he had previously worked as a bouncer and a security guard — and an unidentified customer, who was in the business at the time of the holdup, went after the suspect. Miller waylaid him with a flying tackle near the store’s Pollard Road exit.

Miller said Kazee’s face hit the blacktop when he tackled him, and he also punched the would-be thief in the groin area a couple of times. Miller said he, the customer and several men who came running over from the Foodland store next door detained the suspect until police arrived.

He was in the prking lot next door.

The guy go laid out like a wide receiver going across the middle of a high pass. The guy plastered his face into the ground.

He got out the door with 15 dollars in change.

He walked down the sidewalks with the duck tape on. Not like anybody around here would have noticed such a strange sight.

Police say Ashland man robbed liquor store
By KENNETH HART - The Independent

CATLETTSBURG — The man whom police say robbed a local liquor store with his head wrapped in duct tape will find out next week whether the case against him will advance to the next step in the legal process.

Kasey G. Kazee, 24, is scheduled to appear before Boyd District Judge George Davis III for a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

The purpose of the hearing will be to determine whether there is sufficient evidence against Kazee for the case to be presented to a grand jury.

This article says he is from Ashland. I heard he was from Kitts Hill Ohio.
