But at the bar (restaurant) last night, someone in our party ordered a shared dish for everyone to try, called morro. As I popped a crispy-chewy piece into my mouth, my wife informed me that it was deep-fried pig snout. It was exactly what I expected that part of a pig to taste like.

There are also ham flavored Lay´s here. It´s all about the pork in Spain. Kind of like Kentucky.

As long as I live I will never forget the huge scorpion type things that the Thai people bought off street vendors. Huge as in at least the size of a European man's hand. They were baked till extra-crispy then sold on a big stick. Juicy too. Oh yeah, nothing says good eating like giant insects leaking their liquified insides down your shirt and seeing people lick those insides off as they are running. :tongue3:

Found a Sizzler that first night...

During my 5 years of living in Korea, I ate some stuff that I'm probably better off not talking about. Dried squid, octopus, eel, chicken feet, all sorts of fish(?) was some of the weirdest stuff.

Oi. In my time in New Zealand, I had the unfortunate experience of seeing the favorite topping of french fries, which was....mayo :shrug1:

I don't know how just mayo would taste, but mixing mayo and ketchup is great with fries.

I dip my fries in tartar sauce more than I do my fish.

Brian,
If it gets too bad let me know and I'll mail you some "Country Bob's". Makes everything taste better.

I have a couple of cousins who are about the same age as me. Growing up I can remember one of Wayne's faves was frozen pizza with mustard and Hershey's chocolate syrup drizzled on top. His brother, Jeff, preferred a bowl of Frosted Flakes cereal with vienna sausages or ham cut up in it. Yummmmmm.
