Is it too soon for someone to post the Tailgate info? We have a little over a week and to me, that is PRIME TIME to start the discussions. :)
Where, what time, who is bringing what to eat, who will be there, who will walk to the CAT WALK with PooDoo, etc.
I am really excited for this year! I missed all of last season (except the Bowl game - oh my!!) b/c of the pregnancy and arrival of our little wildcat but I am ready for this season!
Kenny and I will be there on the 1st! GO CATS!!!

Same Place - All Day Tailgate - WCRick says he's camping out on the tailgate spot starting Friday night. ;) Our crew will be there early with plenty of stuff. Food, etc? I'm sure Rick and others will post soon.
After hearing Brooks today about the fans in the stands and the WildCat Walk's affect on the players I pledge to not miss a CatWalk this year and to not have a voice left by the end of each game. :widcat:
Also about the CatWalk. They say that there will be some sort of signal that will be heard around the stadium and tailgate areas just before the team arrives so fans will be reminded to get their buns over there. Sounds like a great idea.

Way to go, UedK! Too, let's hope a lot more UK fans make the same pledge! :)
UKChic, God-willing, Mr. Poodoo and I will be there, and I will indeed be leading the WCN crew to the Cat Walk. Of course, I probably won't be willing to wait for that signal. I just get a little too "hyper" for waiting for that when it comes to getting there to greet the Cats. :icon_lol: In regard to any food from this corner, it will be desserts, as usual. Also, it will be GREAT to see you there! GO CATS! GO RICH!

You can thank us ladies at the clinic for the signal. One of us asked that there be some kind of signal to remind folks it was time to head on over. See you guys there. Mitchell and I are extremely excited and ready to roll.

The one who asked about that is bleedbluelady.:) I have already given her credit on this forum, although she was graciously not wanting to take the credit. :) GO CATS! GO RICH!

I got my season tickets today. I'm as giddy as a school girl. :) I can't wait to see you folks next week and eat me some of Cathy's cheese spread sandwiches. :) Cathy, Are you using all four of your tickets this year? PM me if you get a minute.

I thought you was a school girl. Oh, that's right, you just throw like a school girl. :)
my wife is killing me. she won't be getting out of class until 5:30 on sat., and asked why we have to be there more then a hour before the games. I may have to bum a ride from lighthouse up there and then ride home with her.

If I wasn't excited enough this thread is fuel to the fire. I can't wait.
Yes, bleedbluelady made the brilliant suggestion and we all chimed in. Coach said he would speak to the powers that be. I bet you all thought these WCN ladies were just pretty didn't you!?:icon_lol:
Coach, Andre and several players told us at the clinic how much the crowd meant. They want us at the catwalks and the empty seats do affect them. Someone asked Andre if they heard the crowd and he said yes, most definately.

I did make the suggestion. But when Andre's mother spoke up and said they were talking about it on the UK message boards...I think that made quite am impact on the coaches.
Not to hijack the thread...but, it was a reminder to me that players and parents' of players do read these boards.

I can't be there for the first game but I would like to be the official paper plate supplier of the 2007 season.
If someone can pm me and give me an address I will UPS a case or two of plates for next weeks game.

WAHOOO!!! I have recvd my tickets and ready to roll! I am more excited about this season than I have been in a very long time.
I am learning more about the game, I can actually GO to the games this season (my son was born right in the middle of football season last year),
and I will be drinking water so I will really be paying attention to the games
and tailgate! :)
I am ready, ready, ready for next weekend! Weather looks WONDERFUL!!!
Rick, let us know what you need when you post the tailgate info. I know Kenny and I would like to contribute since we weren't there for last year.
I am not a great cook but I can make a mean hashbrown casserole or stop and grab wings on the way! ;)

I missed all of last year with the stupid, SOB, broken leg. Kinda like Michael Bush, same type of break.
I'll be there for at least a couple of games this year.
