I'm glad to see this. It's long overdue, as is his election to the Hall of Fame.
In their prime, there was no better double play combination than Dave Concepcion and Joe Morgan.

I was shocked that Concepcion's number hadn't been retired before.

Well-deserved. I own a Davey Concepcion jersey, actually. My second favorite Red of all time behind Bip Roberts.

I loved Concepcion and he was such a great fielder. What an infield the Reds had at one time: Bench, Morgon, Concepcion, Rose, and Perez.

I drove cab in Cincinnati during grad school. I took Davey to Riverfront one night. I felt priviliged. He was great. The whole infield was Hall worthy.

The Reds have two shortstops not in the HOF that should/will be in, Larkin and Concepcion. Davey was very underrated and was one of my favs growing up.

Went last night. great ceremony. Junior hit 591. The bullpen had it's meltdown, but we still won!

Well the writers get one more chance to get their heads out of their butts. If they don't I think the veterans comittee will right this wrong because they understand what kind of player he was and what he meant to those teams.Long long overdue.

I was there too, it was a nice ceremony and best of all, they won. It was really funny when Dunn hit his homer because I just turned to my buddy sittingn ext to me right before the pitch and said that it would be nice if Dunn ripped this one out of the park...that very pitch he cranked it 419 feet...
