What about the question? A fifth?! Wow, I would've never thought that was true. I've got to figure that in next time I ask a fellow American for directions. :icon_lol:

Geeez........that was painful to watch.
Not at all good at speaking off the cuff, and worked hard to fillibuster that answer to the bell so as not to really say anything at all while saying it alot.
Hmmmmm, she has the makings of a politician, lol. :icon_lol:

Here's the "transcript":
“I personally believe that US Americans are unable to do so because uh some…people out there in our nation don’t have maps and uh I believe that are at education like such as in South Africa and the they Iraq everywhere like such as and.. I believe that they should uh our education over HERE! in the US should help the US or or…or should help South Africa and should help Iraq and the Asian countries so we would be able to build up our future for our children.”
Now compare that to this:
I think we all agree, the past is over. This is still a dangerous world. It's a world of madmen
and uncertainty and potential mental losses. Rarely is the question asked, is our children learning? Will the highways of the internet become more few? How many hands have I shaked? They misunderestimate me. I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity. I know that the human being and the fish can coexist. Families is where our nation finds hope, where our wings take dream. Put food on your family! Knock down the tollbooth! Vulcanize society! Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher!
You may laugh, but I think this young woman has a bright--ahem--future in politics. Who knows, she may even be president someday....;)
(All kidding aside, I think that while she may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, that what we see is more about her stage fright and anxiety. She got totally twisted up in her answer and couldn't find her way back. Anyone--and I include myself--who's had a panic attack in front of an audience can relate.)
