With classes under way and the depth chart basically set, the Kentucky football team can now put its full focus on Saturday's opener with Eastern Kentucky.
UK's game-week schedule begins today with film study and a light workout. They will take Monday off and practice Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before welcoming the Colonels into Commonwealth Stadium. Coach Rich Brooks put the team through a 30-minute situational scrimmage yesterday.
"We scrimmaged against some of Eastern's stuff," Brooks said. "We've been working on Eastern for the last three or four days for a period here and a period there. Now it will all be Eastern."
Senior running back Rafael Little sat out yesterday's practice with a bruised knee but is expected to return on Tuesday.
