Anyone watching this on NBC tonight? Those were the best years for SNL without a doubt. 8:30 pm Tuesday right now.

I really enjoyed some of those old clips. I remember watching SNL when it first started so long ago. Lorne Michaels really was a pioneer, and I give him a lot of credit for sticking with it when things got sticky.

They did a good job with the retrospective. Fun seeing all those classic skits again. Gilda Radnor is my all-time favorite SNL cast member. While everyone on the show was talented, her work just always seemed so genuine. She died way too young...

Gilda was my favorite too. I think the skit she did where she played Sybil, the one with multiple personalities, was my favorite. Of course I may have been buzzing then and when straight it might not be. :) I would like to see it again to make sure.

I didn't realize it was on.........****!
Those were my favorite seasons.
Did they show the episode of the super hero party?
Garrett Morris was Ant Man. That one was a scream.

I got a call when it was on but in what I saw I didn't see that skit. They did show several of Garrett Morris though. There were interviews as well of the cast and staff now and it seems that Garrett was quite the loner back then and not really close to any of the cast. A few of the cast commented on how good Garret was in that show and how in looking back they appreciated his work even more.

Oh, wish I'd seen that! Gilda R. was so great.
