Toss it out the window, please.

This game is a bit maddening. You have to throw a paper plane across the office and out the window. I can't hit the darn thing after at least 50 tries. I can hit the wall at the far end sometimes but that is it. Must be a trick to it I haven't figured out. Or, the arm of my chair just isn't much of a place for using my mouse. :)

Can someone throw this thing through the window for me? :)

I did it. Just start real low, and do a slight angle up at the end. Move your mouse like you flick your wrist. It's all luck whether you hit the window or not.

It took me like 10 tries.

Try this and see if you can get past level 50 on medium, one of the few tower defense games that has me stumped!

Thanks for the tip. The first couple of times I kept hitting the chimney outside the window and then I got one that went on for quite a while and landed in a park. 38,269M. I think I will quit while ahead. :)

Maybe I should have added the (.) number. Mine was 38,269.?? meters. I mean it went for quite a while before landing. I am sure it was a very lucky shot. I hit something just outside the window, tree branch maybe, did a flip, and I was off for a long long flight.

Edit: My bubble has been busted. I just went back to the site and see that I am listed as 38.269 meters and not the 38,269 I thought. And I was so darn proud of myself too. :) Now I have to try again. grrrrrrrrrr

Somehow I got a little help from the chimney. I've done this so many times and I still have not figured the trick to it. One time in the 90's then every other time less than half that. Frustrating to say the least.

That sure is right. I tried to stay away from it and manage to for the most part but then I finally try again, like last night. It is unreal how much time passes when I tell myself, "I'm just going to try one more". Then, "I'm just going to try one more that gets out the window". And then, "just one more that at least passes the chimney" etc :)

I have got to where 70 or 80 is common but I have only hit just over 94 for a high so far. It sure seems that it must be that making to the chimney smoke at the right angle and speed will be what gives you a boost? Did your long shot do a few loops at the chimney before taking off with a hot air boost?

I know it did one loop above the chimney, not sure if it did more than that.

Any secrets as to how you got these distances. I got 100.625 with one but everything else is 37 to 70

I just had a 116.258 meters with a global rank of 39. I started high on the back wall and sort of aimed low. It did three loops, the last loop was past the chimney and then it took off.

I got 93.639 with a global rank of 8619. It says that 78,349,077 paper airplanes have been tossed on this game. I wonder how many trees had to die for our amusement? :shrug1: :big_grin:

Those loops are the key. Has to loop in the right position though or it drops like a rock because the loop that didn't complete at the right spot then stalls it out. :(
