My `boys looked great on offense! Hopefully Phillips will show in the coming weeks that the defense is (as he stated preseason) an improved defense.

I wasn't enthusiastic about the Phillips hire, but they looked sharp last night, considering it was the first game of the season and against a decent opponent.
Manning played one of his better games last night.
The rubber match at New York will be a tough one for sure.

Im glad to see other Cowboy fans in Wildcatnation. I love the cowboys, always have. Now... if any of you love the Boston Celtics then we need to check our birth certificates because we may have been seperated at birth. My friends always told me I was weird because I loved Kentucky first and foremost, then the boys, and the celtics. They always said that was a weird combination.

I wasn't too enthused with the Wade Phillips hire either, but im gonna give the guy a chance. I believe Tony Romo is the real deal as well.

Well, I'm a Chargers fan, and while a lot of Bolts fans are up-in-arms about the lack of offensive output yesterday, I thought it was a really well played game defensively, and it was really intense for the first game of the season. The offense will come (though I wish a WR would step up to the plate and be productive this year), but that defense was stout yesterday. Granted, it was the Bears offense, but they were rock-solid.
