On Coach Brooks' show he encouraged the fans to be loud when UL has the ball, and to wear BLUE. He wants to see BLUE throughout Commonwealth Stadium, (well except for a couple of thousand of those idiots wearing red :icon_mrgreen: )

What this means to me, is no Gray, Pink, Yellow or any of the multitude of colors you see at a UK game. White is acceptable, but BLUE is BEST.

Also, one other thing I'd like to see....leave your UK Basketball wardrobe at home. This is Kentucky Football, and it's time we show some pride in the football team. Yes we should be proud of our 7 NCAA Titles in basketball, but this is football season.

Wear your BLUE, Be Loud and Beat UL...Go Cats!!!!!

See you at the Catwalk

I think Coach Brooks put wearing blue second for a reason. The best thing we can do to help the team is to be loud when UL has the ball. By all means, wear blue, but don't think that's enough.

Get into the game! Make noise when we are on D!!! Stand up and yell every time UL is facing a 3rd down!!!

Now I will be wearing blue, but I am not a fan of these "____ out" games. And if everyone starts calling it a blue out (which makes no sense), it will just give loserville fans something to talk about, since they do they're black/white out games. Yet people should wear blue to every UK sporting event, we're not the BIG BLUE NATION for nothing.

RV-Our school colors are Blue & White. I only suggested white as OK as long as it had Blue printing on it. To me that is the only exception.

I couldn't believe there was a guy two rows in from of me with a UK shirt on and wearing a North Carolina cap...geesh. Yes it was Carolina blue. :tongue3:

There's no doubt that myself and the other UK fans that are attending that game will be wearing UK blue.

Quite frankly I think we should stand up and yell on EVERY down. Thats what the big boys do, you don't see LSU fans sitting on their hands on 1st and 2nd down, they are rowdy and raucus the entire game start to finish. I want that atmosphere in Commonwealth. this is one game where I hope the stadium is packed shoulder to shoulder standing room only, and the UofL fans are relegated to their own darn section. (I say that and I will probably be bringing a UofL fan with me, LOL, but hey it may be my ticket into next years game) either way it won't keep me from going ape****.

I like the _____ out concepts. I think it is very aesthetically pleasing when I watch a team with their home crowd all in the same color. What kind of criticism would we face?

I will be in BLUE! As a matter of fact, with the weather, I may be in my new long-sleeved WCN shirt. :)
GO CATS!!!!!

I try to make things happen when it's quiet. When it's really loud the other team's players can't hear me.

So just be quiet when the ball is on it's way down from a punt or kickoff towards the Fieldhouse?

To me, these "wear blue" threads are always silly. I mean, what other color would you wear? To me, wearing blue to a game is as natural as brushing my teeth in the morning. EVERYTHING I wear is blue, including some things that don't even show (usually!). I just don't know why folks need to be told to wear blue.

Last week, there were two ladies in my section, both in Kentucky tee-shorts. But, one was black and one was pink! I told them both to make sure that they wear blue this week. They promised that they would.
