Green Dots?

Anyone know what the green dots on the back of the QB's helmets are?:confused:

I have only seen it in the NFL, and Im pretty sure I didnt see it last year, but I first noticed it in the preseason?

Just what in the heck is it for?:shrug1:

It is to point out to the officials that those are the helmets with the speakers in them which allows the offensive coordinator to send the play into the QB. Only one green dot is allowed on the field at a time for the offensive team.
