PLAYERS AVOID BRAVADO; BROOKS CONFIDENT IN TEAM

Keenan Burton has been through this whole Louisville versus Kentucky rodeo before; Saturday's showdown will mark the fifth time he's competed against the Cardinals. Burton is also from Louisville, and he's also one of the Wildcats' primary representatives.
So it shouldn't be surprising that the wily old veteran wasn't giving out much in the way of pre-game rhetoric yesterday.
We just want to win because it's the next game. It's no different because it's Louisville. You want to beat everybody you play.
And tight end Jacob Tamme, on the way to the news conference, said that he didn't even want to talk about the game.
"I really don't know what else can be said," Tamme said. "We've just got to go out there and play."
Reporters kept prodding Burton, telling him Louisville had a clock in its weight room counting down to the Kentucky game, and Burton still held firm.
"See, what I'm not going to do is say something," he said with a laugh. "That's not going to happen."
