According to our man Shawn Bridwell, who you can listen to every Tuesday and Thursday on Kentucky Sports Radio, the Wildcats have moved Chris Goode to defensive end. Goode (6-4, 230), a redshirt freshmen from Georgia, was brought to Kentucky as a Tight End but had yet to crack the three-deep on the UK depth chart. UK has had some great success at moving players from the tight end position of late. Former tight ends Eric Scott and Zipp Duncan currently start for the Wildcats on the offensive line.

that takes us down to 3 recruited TEs for this season and if he stays at DE, then we only have 2 next year. we go from overloaded in the spring to thin come next fall.

MB and staff have done a good job recruiting depth, and I bet they have an eye on the TE position also.

It was clear to me Saturday that we needed RDE help bigtime. Hope this is an answer.
Chris played several snaps in the second half last week. He's in the 250# range now as well. When you bring in athletes in his size/skill range you never really know where they will end up. Could be TE, LB, DE, DT or OL. You get them on campus, working with the weights and try to determine their best skills and move them around accordingly.
