Right now. I'll report what they say.

They said that Woodson could jump Brohm with a much performance. Later on, they failed to mention the UL/UK upset. Basically, they were buttering a bunch of people's bread.

It's right, but stupid. Both are going to be seen all season, and the NFL is not about one game - it's like 20 games, plus preseason. I would want to be the second or third QB taken anyway - to a much better team.

People like to talk about how college football is getting more 'even'. Well, the NFL is getting bad. The bad teams are getting worse while the good teams are getting better.

I am not sure that I agree with you about the NFL. In my opinion, there are usually only 2-3 really bad teams, and thee are usually about 2-3 really good teams. So with that math, that puts about 6 teams in categories that create great amounts of parity. I believe that with those middle teams, it is almost a crap shoot to pick a game. Take this hypothetical as an example:

This year Jacksonville was a popular pick to be a darkhorse, but I can assure you that a Green Bay, NY Giants, Arizona Cardinals or a Carolina Panthers team would give them all that they want. Heck, Tennessee beat them last week, and I don't think anybody is confusing the Titans for a Super Bowl team.

Also, I see your rationale on being the 2nd or 3rd QB picked, but the difference in sheer dollars would motivate me to aspire for the first QB pick.

I thought the draft was in May.

It is, but it is never too early to begin speculating... ;)

Look at Russells contract and then look at Brady Quinn's and tell me which one you would prefer. They are both on terrible teams. Going in the top 5 is like winning the lottery.

I don't watch a lot of NFL until January but as Chief Ten Bears said, "There's a lot of iron in your words."
