The moment Rafael Little became the first player in University of Kentucky history to reach more than 2,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards, he found out just like everyone else.
After he caught senior quarterback Andre Woodson's pass for 13 yards, bringing his career receiving yards to 1,006 during the team's 56-20 victory over Kent State Saturday, Little heard an announcement over the Commonwealth Stadium public address system.
He became only the fourth Southeastern Conference player to achieve the feat, joining Florida's Errict Rhett and LSU's Dalton Hilliard and Garry James.
"I guess it's an honor, I really didn't even know coming into it," Little said. "Nobody let me know, I just played, they just said it over the intercom."
As simple as it sounds, this much is known about the humble Little and what he means to the Wildcats.
