I sat with some great Ark. fans at the SEC basketball tourney, but after 250 Woo-pig-sooie's, it sure made me glad I was a UK fan. :eek: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Somewhat OT, but the best sporting event I ever saw in person was the UK / Arkansas overtime thriller at the SEC Basketball Tournament. Between the two fanbases, we packed that oversized barn known as the Georgia Dome.

I don't know why the others Hog fans on here are implying that things have cooled down since the start of the season, but from my vantage point it has gotten worse. I have a feeling our program will never be able to unite the fanbase until Houston Nutt is fired or quits. He has done so much damage to our program that it doesn't matter about wins or losses anymore.

I can give you reason after reason as to why things have turned for the worse for our program, but it would take up so much space that your admins might ban my post. It is that long. Visit my site if you want to learn about our Nutt.

I'm personally not a NUTT fan myself and I think he should have left last year, but we have him back and that's that. He will not be there forever and will probably leave after this year. :thumbup:

i went to the SEC basketball tourney about three years ago, and the met some Arkansas fans and they were some of the nicest people i had ever been around. The only thing that bothered me about them was Pig suey cheer

As to the debate of Houston Nutt I bow out..I am not a Nutt fan but the season is here and that is all I care about. I draw the line at personal..anything coaching wise is fair game ..

I don't have the time or patience to go over it, but what Nutt did would not be tolerated at any other school. If you knew how the politics are played in AR you might have a better understanding how Nutt survived this past year. If you truly have any desire to learn the truth about all of this then visit razorbacktalk.com.. You will learn why many people are upset.

BTW, while we won 10 games last year, we lost the last 4 out of 5. The 2 years prior to last year, Nutt had 2 back to back losing seasons even after being the HC for so long with mediocre result (his bowl record is dismal to say the least).

AR is a football school and we have higher expectations than say Vandy or UK. Mediocrity isn't or shouldn't be accepted, but what made people more upset with Nutt was his lack of morals and integrity.

I still haven't heard you back up what you are trying to say, just hiding behind "you don't know what you are talking about, so don't speak on it." So I'll drop it because you obviously won't go there.

Why do you think you should beat UK? What aspect of the game do you do better? Maybe the running game, I'll give you, but what else? I believe we are the better coached team, but we are aslo the better team right now. That seems pretty clear to everyone except Arkansas fan. But really, considering the two teams on the field, what are you better at? See if you break it down we are better at D-Line, Linebackers, DB's, receivers and QB. I'll give you O-line and RB's. Depth--equal at this point, coaching, Uk is better. So just how do you say you should beat us but won't only because of coaching?

I think you´re over-reacting a bit. A genuine question was asked, and you snapped his head off. Evidently, you don´t have much love for your coach, and that´s fine. If you can´t answer the question without attacking the poster, then....don´t! ;)

I do recognize that Arkansas has played on the national scene in years past, but much of that time, you were still in the old SWC, which is off the radar screen for us.

Higher expectations? Oh please, AR is a former member of the most corrupt "football schools" ever assembled, the former SWC. Whether or not AR was proven to be involved, or even implicated, the fact is that those "football schools" caused an entire conference to disintegrate. UK has certainly had its share of problems and probation, but I agree with you here - we're not in your (former) league.

Sometimes people get stuck on one thing and can't get pass it... HDN has done a lot for our football program and I really don't think anyone can sit back and say he hasn't ... his personal life is his personal life... now if you want to grip about his coaching then grip.. but can you do it without bringing up his personal life... and over on someone else's board too...maybe you should just keep all the bashing of the coach on your board and not someone elses...

The question in and of itself was to broad to answer and would of taken wayyyyyyyy too much time. You sure you are not a Hog and/or HDN fan? I'm reading between the lines here, but it seems you know more than you are willing to say. Most of this stuff has nothing to do with the Springdale players. Oh well, doesn't matter. I done talking about it. If you want to learn more you know where to go.

Please take the time, because as it stands, Oscam's razor has Houston Nutt rated fairly highly in my mind. Your suggestion, to look around the other board, is way too much work for me. You brought it up, you should deliver. If you don't, that's cool, but Nutt will still be rated fairly high in my mind. If the Arkansas fan base rids themselves of him, I will have to look at them funny.
