University of Louisville offensive lineman Breno Giacomini apologized last night for making an obscene gesture before Saturday's game against the University of Kentucky. Giacomini, a senior right tackle, gave two middle fingers to Wildcats fans at Commonwealth Stadium as the Cardinals took the field. The incident was captured in a photo that appeared in a gallery on The Courier-Journal's Web site. The photo was removed yesterday after it was brought to the attention of editors. -- Louisville Courier-Journal

I remember a few years ago when Cincinnati stomped on the cardinal bird at the pizza pit, and the loserville people got all upset. Called Cinn. low class losers. What does this make UL?

Thanks for sharing, Jim. Too, the caption is priceless. That picture just makes the victory even sweeter, by the way, if possible. :)
