Can you call 911 for a whole region

The trainwreck that is the Boston Red Sox has begun their annual meltdown and are in the process of blowing a huge lead to the Yankees. The only thing louder than a tasered UF student has been the Red Sox fan wailing.

Just a game and a half now. I think since NYY won the head-to-head series 10-8 they win the division in the event of a tie. I thought it was too late but I'm hoping the Yanks have one more last push in them.

The difference between this year and years past is that this time it doesn't matter, because both teams will be making the playoffs, one as the division champ and one as the wildcard. I'll admit the Yankees have surprised me, coming back from the dead in June to make things extremely interesting. However, once the playoffs roll around the Yankees will choke like the have every year since 2000, and hopefully the Sox will get it together in time to take out Cleveland/Anaheim, whichever team they end up playing. Go Red Sox!
