Assumptions:

1) Brennen, White, Tebow, and Ryan do not go pro (and even this may not matter)

2) Brohm and Woodson stay healthy

3) Byron Leftwich is not the answer (I think we are safe here)

Woodson, Brohm, and Booty should be the top 3 QBs in the draft.

Of the worst NFL teams, Raiders (Russell), Chiefs (Croyle), Bills (Edwards), Dolphins (Beck), Browns (Quinn and Anderson) all have young QBs drafted in the first few rounds, and the Rams, Giants, and Jets are set at QB.

This leaves Altanta who seemingly has to go QB at the top. It is likely, then, that Petrino will have to decide between Woodson and Brohm (and possibly Booty). It is an interesting situation with negative ramifications to either choice. I wouldn't mind seeing Andre in that system.

I couldn't imagine Petrino not going with Brohm, but you never know. A lot can happen between now and then, and you can't assume this far in advance that a team is "set" at QB (especially with Chad Pennington's injury problems and Eli Manning's poor play). I could see several teams taking Woodson (i.e. Cleveland, Detroit, Baltimore, etc.), but of course it depends on how the season goes and where teams end up in the draft. So I guess it's really hard to tell at this point, but I'm definitely interested in finding out!

I agree with you, except for the possibility of Cleveland drafting a QB high with Anderson and Brady Quinn. It seems very possible, at this point, that Atlanta will have the #1 overall pick. Pitino took a little flack for drafting UK players to the Celtics, so taking Brohm holds the potential for criticism, but I agree he probably will.

Tebow can't go pro, isn't he a true sophomore? unfortunately he has a minimum of one more year.

One thing to remember is the decision will not be Petrino's alone. As good as Brohm is, and he has probably the highest football IQ of anyone out there, I don't know that he is mobile enough for the pro game. I'm not saying he has lead feet, because he can run when needed. The pro game is just so much faster than the college game and I'm not sure he has the foot speed. Andre has somewhat of the same problem, but he is bigger and has shown, at least to this point, to be more durable.

Norm Chow was the OC for the Titans when Vince Young was selected over Matt Leinart. It can happen.

If by Brennen you mean Colt Brennan out of Hawaii, well, he is a senior if Im not mistaken. So he wont really have a choice to stay

I stand corrected, and suppose I should have researched this thread a bit. Yes, Colt Brennan is a Senior, and yes, Tebow needs one more year out of high school.

Actually, it will be Rich McKay's decision if he still has the job of GM.
