Just noticed this while watching the replay (for the second time).

If you have a record of the game take a look at the next to last play in the first half. It at about 1 hr 20 min on the Bit Torrent replay. Andree overthrows an (almost) wide open S. Johnson who is streaking down the sideline. Now take a look at the game winning TD pass to Johnson. About 2:39 on the replay.

It looks like the same play! Other than that the first half play is to the offense's right and the second half one is to their left, looks like the same formation and play. It hard to believe that the UL coaching staff didn't correct what ever caused this blown coverage at half time.

Who, by the way, is UL's number nine? He looks like the victim on both plays.

You are correct!

Actually I believe that was the third time that play had been ran that night. Each time Johnson was wide open. The 2nd time Woodson overthrew Tamme on a route across the middle.

I read somewhere about how they ran that play three times.

They said the first two time they ran it UL keep moving towards the middle of the field on Tammes crossing route over the middle. And if you remeber that Johnson was thrown to on that exact play earlier in the game but Woodson overthrew him just a bit.

But man did he hit him dead on the last time the play was run. BEAUTIFUL!!

It was the same play they have been talking about it for the last few days in the newspaper articles in the courier journal. Steve missed the first one and told Andre' that he "owed him a touchdown" and he also told Keenan that he was "going to make a big play" so yes it was the same play only better results

u no, if u watch that incomplete pass in the first half, u can tell stevie slowed down and that was why the pass went too long
