well apparently I am in good company because Rocky Top has to be the worst..except the dang cow bells but that wasn't a choice so had to go with Rocky Top.

I think the Gator Chomp is far more annoying that Rocky Top, and here is why:

Rocky Top, while it can annoy the opposing team, is meant primarily to inspire/celebrate the team that plays it -- in this case UT.

The Gator Chomp, on the other hand, is directed at the opposition. It is, IMO, a form of taunting.

While I do not like to watch the Vols celebrate, I find that far less annoying than being taunted by gator fans.

Being an old school fan, I have more dislike for ewe tee than any other school (including U of L). Having said that, I answered other, which I used for none since none wasn't available. None of what other schools do bothers me. To me, all of that stuff, just like mascots and cheerleaders is part of the gameday hoopla that makes college fb so great. I have a copy of "Rocky Top" even though ewe tee isn't one of my favorite schools, just because I like the song so much.

It is because they play it SOOOOO much! It seems like they play it for first downs, or even plays that are positive yardage. I just want to throw something at the tub player everytime they play it.

I think you hit the nail on the head. The song gets run into the ground. It's even worse when you live down here. No matter what festival or event you go to, if there are instruments around, "Rocky Top" gets played. Enough already.
