Bozich is about as nuetral as a Peta member on a Michael Vick jury panel, when it comes to UK.

Boy, he's bound and determined he's gonna belittle the Wildcats in some form or fashion, isn't he? Even if he has to keep digging up television ratings arguments to do so.
It figures. :icon_rolleyes:

Considering ESPN Classic has become the network of choice for so many UK fans, I'm expecting an announcement any minute that the Wildcats have asked ESPN to move all their basketball games from ESPN to ESPN Classic this winter. It's a must.

Why can't the media let this go? The game is over, NEWS ALERT GUYS KENTUCKY WON AND IT WAS A WONDERFUL GAME! Both teams made some great plays and both teams left some points on the field. A whole week has passed and the teams and fans are getting ready for other big games today. Let it go! Please for the sake of sanity, let it go.
In two years when we play again on the third weekend at Commonwealth, will we have to hear all this over again? They just won't admit that Mitch and Rich are going to do what they think is best for UK, and they don't give a damn what the media has to say about it. It has worked out pretty good so far.
GO BIG BLUE!!!
I saw Bozo at the Ark ariport yesterday. His traveling companion was (drumroll please) John Clay. You know what they say about birds of a feather.

sad... what a pathetic excuse for a "journalist". i'm sure he's so proud. the only thing more sad than this is that the cj calls itself a "news" paper. sad.

Reading the posted replies I found this:
"As for UofL. Anytime we are standing around saying "thank God we have Syracuse this weekend", we have to be concerned. Don't be surprised if Syracuse looks "good" in a loss to Louisville. And if our defense does not "get religion" real soon, 7 wins may be tough for us too.
If I am wrong and Kentucky is for real and takes Arkansas out. Then count on Louisville to be a hell of a lot better than anyone is giving them credit. I will be very surprised if I am wrong. Arkansas BY A BUNCH."
Can't help but thinking at this point in the second quarter this poster might be re-thinking his 'thank God we have Syracuse this weekend' thought:icon_lol:

Anyone who buys the JC may as well give money to the UofL athletic fund.

Western Kentucky basketball coach Darrin Horn said he and his wife, Carla, wanted to watch the game in Bowling Green but couldn't because they didn't have the proper programming package. Imagine.)
Considering ESPN Classic has become the network of choice for so many UK fans, I'm expecting an announcement any minute that the Wildcats have asked ESPN to move all their basketball games from ESPN to ESPN Classic this winter. It's a must. QUOTE by Rick Bozich

Folks, for several years I have been writing that Bozich is ONE (no, I don't think the majority of writers and commentators are anti-UK :)) writer who is anti-UK, anti-UK fans, and anti-SEC, while being biased in favor of Louisville and defensive for its particular conference at the time. In fact, some anti-Brooks fans would be buying his every word about our needing to fire Brooks, and I would remind them not to trust what he was saying, for he was definitely NOT a friend of the UK athletic programs.
Anyway, Bozich is STILL writng about how WRONG Brooks and Kentucky were to move the rivalry game. :) Open the link and read his comments about the ratings, OR merely read what I just pasted. :)
It's almost unbelievable that Bozich used as evidence for HIS side the fact that Darrin Horn and his wife didn't get to watch the game because they didn't have ESPN Classic. Could they not think of going to someone else's house, or to some other location, as did my younger son!!! WEAK, Bozich!
THEN there's still another typical "dig" toward us UK fans!!! Please LET IT GO, Bozich! Your OBSESSION is becoming far too obvious. No, I have never called him his notorious nickname and still won't do so. However, I share that Mr.Poodoo said Bozich definitely lived up to his nickname in this one.
Bozich, Brooks moved the game to the third game, and UK WON, besides getting all kinds of national publicity with the game's ending. LET IT GO for the sake of whatever positive reputation you still have, if for no other reason! Also, it is fine to be wrong and for Brooks and Kentucky to be right. Admitting such would make you appear far a bigger man. Just my honest feelings on the matter. :)
