Warning for those getting in line for BBM tickets...

The line is already much longer than in years past at the same time of the week. Usually the line doesn't start going around the back until Friday, but when I last looked it was already around both corners and part of the way down the sides of Memorial. You have to get there, set up and wait for Sandy Bell to come by with numbers and take a shot at good seats.

I have no idea what it will be like after today, but if it continues to fill up like it did this afternoon I couldn't imagine the seats being very good for those getting there late Friday. Make your own decisions, but I wanted to pass along the info in case you have the chance to get there earlier or decide to try online.:shrug1:

Again, I am merely speculating, but things are so different out there with the new number system. Just be prepared for a Zoo down there and be ready to be well back in the line.

So I was planning coming up around 6 on Friday... Any updates or opinions for this timing? I would hate to camp out all night for nothing or for not so good seats.

My first year of BBM was the last year it was held at Memorial. I got in line at 3 AM Saturday morning and still got lower level tickets. Of course, those were the days of only getting two tickets instead of four. Even still, the line at that time was probably about to where it is right now. Hopefully UK goes all out with the madness this year!

I wonder if Madness will be on ESPN this year. Don't they ussually go to a couple of schools every year? It probably would be on ESPU but still would be nice. It may be against the media contract we have though since we will be on FoxSports already. Anyone know?

Is there anyone who has an update on the line length? I live four hours away and would hate to drive all that way for nothing. Won't get to leave here until about 7 et. Any update will be very appreciated!
