I don't know if anyone is allowed to provide a link. If so, please do so.
In this week's Cats' Pause I have found an ENTIRE PAGE feature story on "our" very own DeMoreo Ford. I and others here have especially praised DeMoreo's blocking from his wide receiver position. In this piece DeMoreo's position coach Joker Phillips AND his teammates give him such high praise. DeMoreo does indeed do, most willingly and unselfishly, a lot of the tough, "dirty work" that makes so many offensive plays successful.
I smiled with pride and happiness as I read the words that are so true. That DeMoreo is such a nice young man--and especially kind to little kids and all of us here at WCN--makes it all the better. This thread is LOVE and appreciation for DeMoreo. :)
Saturday night against Arkansas with Little injured, DeMoreo came in and handled the punt receiving duties. He stepped up and caught a few sure handed punts, one for good yardage and one fair catch in heavy traffic to help maintain field position.

DeMoreo came by Memorial to see me today. I never stop laughing around him, I wish all our members could get the chance to meet him.

I'll never forget being at the Music City Bowl and seeing DeMoreo catch that bomb from Andre - it happened right in front of me. Awesome!

Ive sent messages back and forth with DeMoreo on Myspace and he never fails to reply and when he does he comes across as sincere and genuine. I did pass on to him in one message how highly several members of this board thought of him and he was of course very humbled by hearing that...if I ever have a son, no scratch that, I hope my daughter is as polite and gracious as he is when she reaches his age with or without his talent.

you have to feel for joker. he has both DeMoreo and Dicky.
If we started a list of all the positive things we see our players doing off the field, would we have room for anything else on here?

Ya know, wizard, that's a great idea.
How about a sticky for "Great things big and small done by our players"?

Can someone bring a copy with them tomorrow. I would like to read it.
There are no words to express the admiration I have for this young man. It seems that our coaches have brought in the most humble, hard-working, selfless gentlemen a program could have and I, for one, couldn't be more proud.
He has excellent taste in women too but he has a hard time remembering birthdays. ;)

I couldn't begin to put into words how much I think of Demoreo. He is one of the finest young men I have ever met. Bar none. He is so genuine around kids and us adults it is truly awe inspiring. I will never forget how he has treated Dillon and everybody else for that matter. RV summed it rather nicely. This group of Cats are truly special young men. Our coaches have an eye for talented wonderful young men.

DeMoreos family told somebody that everytime he walks up to the tailgate "Rick looks like a proud Papa". I would have to guess that is true, because I am always happy to see him. We give each other a lot of grief in front of people, but I have never met a finer young man. Make no mistake about it, Keenan is the same type kid. I still cant get over that he came to see me in line for BBM tickets and offered to bring me anything I needed in line, just said call me and its yours. That is huge coming from a BMOC and future HIGH NFL draft pick. Moreo and Keenan are great guys and hilarious when they are together.
BTW, I saw DeMoreo on Monday Night Football last night.

Knowing how nice he is off the field, who would think that "His whole goal every game is to knock someone out. He seriously wants to knock someone out every single game." - Keenan Burton, from the article.

You could tell that Keenan is cut of the same mold of Demoreo when he stopped by the tailgate. I was on cloud 9 as well then.:widcat:

I obviously started this thread because of how much I think of DeMoreo, whom I so hope to see next weekend. :) Some are mentioning Keenan's also stopping by the tailgate (and I so hated missing that). Both are indeed GREAT guys, as WildcatRick posted. :)
