Hilton Suites at Lexington Green is nice, that's at Nicholasville Rd and New Circle a couple of miles south of the stadium. . . . a cheaper alternative is the Red Roof, also on N'ville Rd just inside of New Circle. . . I think there may be a fairly new Holiday Inn Express near campus, off Limestone.. . .

The Holiday Inn Express is at Virginia Avenue and Export Street, phone 859-389-6800. Waller Place Inn, at the corner of Limestone and Waller is closest (you can see Commonwealth from there), phone 859-278-6625. Crowne Plaza Campbell House is at Waller and South Broadway, 859-255-4281. There's also a small suites-type hotel next to the Crowne Plaza, but I can't recall the name just now.

The Springs Inn at the corner of Harrodsburg Rd and Lane Allen. It's 2 miles from the stadium.

Actually, proximity to the stadium should not be a concern. Virtually everything in Lexington is close to the stadium or an easy drive.

There is a cluster of about a dozen hotels at one of the exits off 64 just north of Lexington. I used to stay there all the time. When I was alone and going cheap, I'd stay at the Knights Inn. When I had my girlfriend with me, we would stay across the street at the Hampton. And, It was only 15 minutes or less to the stadium.

That is where I stay when not driving back to Louisville

We stay at the SpringHill Suites (Marriott) on Broadway and Virginia Av. Close to the Red Mile. Very nice and less than 4 yrs old. Less than 4 miles from Commonwealth

I wouldn't have recommended that place to anyone, what a dump!

That used to be Yocum's. Just called the number and they answered "University Inn". Didn't ask the physical address.

It's the same place. I had forgotten that the name changed. Note, Yocum's was demolished and a new facility built on the site several years ago.

sorry i am late with this response. I would recommend you stay downtown at the Hyatt, Radisson or Gratz Park Inn. There is a very cheap shuttle bus service from downtown to the game with express service (no lights).

All the great restaurants and bars are downtown too!
