For the moment, anyway, they are projecting us as the #5 team out of the SEC going against (are you ready?) Clemson.

Haha, they have UL in the PapaJohns.com Bowl. How ironic.

If UL doesn't fix some issues on their defense in a hurry they may miss out completely this year. There isn't a team in the Big East that doesn't expect to beat Syracuse this season.

The Bowl committees won't allow that sort of rematch to occur.

I disagree; I actually think they would encourage it. They did it with Ohio State and South Carolina two years in a row in the Outback Bowl not long ago. With UK and Clemson facing off last year, facing off in the same (Peach) Bowl previously in that dramatic last minute 1 point game, and having a prior history in the regular season before that, and both teams traveling well with solid fan bases, I think they'd actually like to pair up UK and Clemson again, kind of like they did with UK and Utah in basketball in the past.

So last week they have UK in the Outback against Michigan and South Carolina somewhere else. UK beats Arkansas and South Carolina loses to LSU and they change it to South Carolina in the Outback against Michigan and UK going to Atlanta? I'm not sure I get that . . . but the UK vs. South Carolina game will be a big one in determining bowl assignments for both teams.
