As of right now the following teams rated above Kentucky are losing or have lost:
#13 Clemson is losing to GA Tech
#10 Rutgers is losing to Maryland
#7 Texas is losing to Kansas St
#6 Cal is beating #11 Oregon
#5 WV lost to S. Florida
#3 Oklahoma lost to Colorado
A top 10 in the AP or Coach's Poll is a real possibility!!!

I think we stay outside the top 10 just because of the opponent we played today. When you look at it, I wouldnt be suprised if WVU and Oklahoma were still ahead of us. If Rutgers, Clemson, and Texas loses on top of Oregon then yes top 10

We probably won't move up at all; maybe one spot. I'd be surprised if we moved up at all after today.
If we beat South Carolina, we'll move up, all right. :)

im saying no higher than 12
I think we go up to #9, Rutgers is about to lose, Oklahoma, Texas, WVU, and Clemson all losing we easily make top 10.

UK definately will move ahead of Clemson with them losing. South Florida could move past UK with their big win over West Virginia. I would think Oregon losing at home would drop down several spots. Rutgers will drop lower than UK as well. I think UK will be ranked #11 or #12.

Oregon and OU arent going to drop too far. We will probably jump over Oregon, but not OU and I dont think WVA will fall all that far either.

I believe we will jump Rutgers, Oregon, and and Clemson, #10,11,13, respectively, which gets us to #11. If the voters see fit to put us ahead of #7 Texas, we are top 10. We wont pass OU, and I doubt West Virginia, so my guess is #10 or #11.

I'll say 11 but 10 wouldn't be completely out of reason

Hi guys! Great day for the Big Blue. I too was thinking today about where the Cats will be ranked tomorrow. I think we will be 10 or 11; I really think we will be 11 but I would love to be in the top 10! If we can beat Carolina, we will jump up in to the Top 10 for sure.

I just want to win. I don't care about our Ranking in Oct
Texas will drop like a rock since they have looked terrible all year and just lost by 20 at home to a pretty mediocure KSU team.We will definitely pass Clemson, Oregon and Rutgers. It is just a matter of if anyone passes us. We did what we were supose to do, dominate an inferior opponent. That won't hurt us in the polls. If we would have struggled it might, but not with the way we played. Woodson getting 5 TDs will get a lot of press also with him being a legit heisman candidate. I say #10. Beat USC and who knows. Crazy to think about these things. I am not sure there is any team in America that would go 3-0 against our next three though. That is brutal. 3 top 20 schools, including two top 5, in 3 weeks. Get through this 2-1 and we will be a top 10 team all year and will compete for the SEC championship. Heady times for a UK fan. What a ride. Keep it going, I love it.

The announcers on the Bama-FSU game are saying that South Florida will be in the top ten next week.

I think they're jumping the gun. That's a pretty big jump from 18th and frankly, WVU was definitely NOT playing their best last night. Both teams made a lot of mistakes, and South Florida played just enough better to come out on top. They're pretty good, but I don't think top 10 quite yet.

Unfortunately, in college football you have to look at rankings. Winning doesn't do it all.... see the 2003 LSU team who shared the title with USC, and the 2004 Auburn team who went undefeated and didn't get a shot at USC.

Mark May said we are the 2nd best team in the SEC. I don't know if I'd go that far considering the meat of our schedule has yet to be played. The players have a lot of confidence now though, and as today proved, anything can happen.

Let's face it - we're the media darling this year and that always helps.

Jumping 4 out of 7 losers would be a travesty, not the result of being a media darling. Maybe not UF, we play them anyway. 14-6 is 8.

Just imagine the national hype machine that could get rolling for UK and Andre's Heisman campaign if they can beat SC on the road on national TV.

I say somewhere in the #6 to # 8 range and it is completely legit. After yesterday, I have to say that we have the best offense in the country.
