I picked the last answer because although I really hope they would try to run up the score whatever the coaches decide is what I will defend later.

I went with take a knee.

I'd love to run it up on Spurrier as much as anyone, but this game is waaaaaay to important to fool around with.

Too many weird things could happen. Fumbled snap, bad exchange on the handoff, tipped pass picked off.

Throw in SC getting the onsides kick and there you go.

Take a knee. It shows class, as baldcat said something bad could happen and why take a chance on getting an injury to a key player (such as Woodson) fooling around like that.

Given this scenario, I think taking a victory knee and walking away with a win would put the knife in 'ol Spurrier's heart. Showing them that they are just another notch in our belt and we have other fish to fry. A victory at S Car would effectively put them out of the SEC east race, something they thought they would win this year.

GO BIG BLUE!!!

Depends on how many TO's SC have left.

Yep, take the knee. Avoid injuries. In a way it is the most agonizing way to stretch out the unavoidable loss if you are on the short end of the score in my opinion. Wouldn't that be King Steve's just desserts?

We're on the road. National media. Don't be flashy but advance the ball until the end of the game. If we score, we score.

I picked to run the ball, but only if we're on the SC end of the field. Class has nothing to do with it. A final score would drive a stake in Spurriers and SC heart and maybe put them on a downhill slide. Believe me, Spurrier would run the score up on UK just to use it for recruiting purposes. Taking a knee would show class but when it comes to voters in the polls, points and scores for the ones who do not see the game will sway their vote. Teams looking to play in a BCS bowl game run scores up all the time just to get the voters' attention.

If we are in a position to take a knee do it, a slow death would hurt Spurrier worse than anything, IMO

I agree, running the ball to run out the clock shows strength and confidence, and not a fear of making a mistake.

I picked: see if we can score again.

Why?

73-7, September 10, 1994, Florida Field, Spurrier at the helm.

Question to Derrick Ramsey on the call-in show, Friday evening before the UK-Florida home game in 1997:
Q: Do you think Steve Spurrier is going easier on us because he likes Hal Mumme and his system?
Ramsey (laughing): Steve Spurrier would stick a knife through his own sister's heart if he had to!

Id' go with take a knee...not because we are kentucky and we are better than that. I've just seen too many UK defeats snatched from the jaws of victory.

I'd give the ball to locke and see what he can do with it

First, you didn't tell me if it was 1st down and 10 yards to go. Secondly, I was at the LSU game several years ago and recently almost had a heart attack at the Louisville game with the last second pass.

I'd say hang onto that ball!!!!

I voted for taking a knee. No need to stopp the his level. We are better than that:thumbup:

I say take a knee. As much as I dislike Spurrier, a win is far more important.

To me, taking a knee is the ultimate form of cockiness. It says that we kicked your butt and we dont even have to run plays to finish the game.

I voted for take a knee.

Run the ball to run clock. It is their job to keep us out of the end zone.

I am for doing what the coaches decide.

Score another TD in about 60 seconds.

On Side Kick and Recover.

Drive to the one and then take a knee,

I voted to take the knee. To me, that can potentially hurt worse than trying to rub it in by trying to score again. Taking a knee lets you know, "Yeah, we know we're going to win, and there's nothing you can do about it."
